Reservoir
Info
This is a very popular
low elevation fly fishing lake with great small mouth and large
mouth bass fishing and large planted Rainbow Trout. The trout are
shallow and on top in the Fall and Spring. The bass are in the shallows
spawning in the Spring and again come into the shallow to feed in
the Fall.
There is some wade fishing
at the lake but it is mostly fished from a float tube, pontoon boat,
canoe or kayak. An an outboard powered skiff is a great way to cover
this lager body of water.
The Mokelumne River feeds
the lake making it a top fishery for Nor Cal.
