It seems like I need to get out about once a month and look for fish somewhere. Here are some pictures from last week. Lots of rain but we did hit some fishable windows and got to watch basketball at night. DSLR's and rain are not a good mix. Drops on the lens and potential camera damage make it pretty much not worth trying. Some DSLR shots here during the dry times and breaks between fishing and a couple of phone shots of fish. Hopefully you are finding some fishable water or planning something good for the Spring.
A raft lining up to come through the riffle.
A smooth beach and a yellow raincoat coming at you.
Mossy boulders and big water but very fishable.
Red alders pushing out catkins and the uncommon sight of blue sky.
Rowing through muddy water at the end of the float.
Rain forest trail and a big mossy snag.
Checking out the beach during a high water day.
A phone shot of a nice 3 salt hen. I was told 8000 to 9000 eggs in a fish like that.
Piggly Wiggly himself. A bruiser buck with some color.
