    Default Yuba 8/4

Floated the Yuba today with Keith Kaneko and Tim Au-Young from the shop. Caught some fish looking up on hoppers as well as a few sub surface. All in all a good day, with this heat wave upcoming I'd go wet wade and pitch hoppers to cool off. Saw a few salmon as well which is encouraging.

The Lower Yuba River is very nice with super clean water with lots of bugs.

It has lots of spirited wild Rainbow trout from 10 to 20 inches and longer at times.

It is the best trout stream close to Sacramento.
