My friend Dave Cory sent me a photo of his son Miguel with a very large SMB landed on the Lower Feather River near Marysville, CA on September 11, 2011.

Andy, Aaron and I have been trying to catch a nice one like this on the Feather.

August through October is the timing and you need a boat.

Looking for her cousin here in Texas! Just traveled to Amistad on Fri. & Sat. It was my first time there. The Devil's River reportedly has some giant SMB swimming in it. I think I can get the Beavertail quite a ways upriver, may have to do a camping/exploratory venture soon. Brett
