Bill: Bob was responsible for starting the trophy trout program in the very early 70's at both Collins and Berryessa. A very smart biologist who was also an excellent fly fisherman. In the very early 70's at Collins the guys fishing for these fish were Bob Long, Al Perryman, Cal Guinn, Herb Hagen and Lew Palmer. My privilege to both know and fish with him.
