Pirates of the Flats

Hey all,

Just a heads up... the first of six episodes of "Pirates of the Flats" will be on ESPN2 Sunday night (got the word that it'll be 9 pm, but be sure to check local listings). My brother did some of the remote audio engineering for the series. How can you go wrong with Tom Brokaw, Michael Keaton, Thomas McGuaine, Yvon Chouinard, and Lefty Kreh in the Bahamas?

Some years ago I was invited to go on a special Bonefishing trip to Christmas Island that was hosted by the Sage rod company.

Lots of wonderful people were on that trip too like Yvon Chouinard (Patagonia), Lefty Kreh and Val Atkinson (photographer).

Those guys just have too much fun......

well ESPN2 where I am did not carry it - anyone know if it was on? I am bummed as I was really looking forward to this series!!!!

Yeah, I missed it too. Turned out broadcast time was 9 AM (not pm as I was originally told) Eastern time. Would've been 6 am here. I'm gonna keep my eye here:

as well as constantly checking the ESPN website for more info. The trailers alone have me chomping at the bit ;-)

My wife went through our ESPN2 schedule and the series is on Sat at 3AM and Sunday at 6AM. I am hoping that maybe the Saturday showing is the earlier one and we may still get to see it
