American Shad

Went out yesterday fishing for stripers on the lower A and saw a dead female shad and some small schools (5-6) fish cruising around. Has anyone had any success out there?

We should get a wading report any day now.

For sure they are catching Shad from anchored boats at the mouth of the American River, mouth of the Feather River and at Shanghai Bend up further on the lower Feather River.
