Jim is retired from some "big state job" and is a world class fly fisher and fly tier. He fishes more than most locally and abroad.

Jim fishes mostly for Stripers in Nor Cal and occasionally for Steelhead. He spent endless years on many of our top trout streams and lakes in CA too.

His big love now is the tropical salt water fly fishing to places like Los Roques off Venezuela, Christmas Island in the Central Pacific and Mulegé, Loreto, Punta Colorado, Zihuatanejo, Campeche, Tarpon Cay Lodge, Isla Blanca and Isla Holbox in Mexico.

Jim is also an expert at selecting the right tackle for any fly fishing situation and putting it together perfectly.
